Configure

Search results per page:
Maximum number of search results to be displayed on a single page.
Page refrences per page:
Use this setting to break search results into blocks of X pages. If there are more than X pages, "<<prev" and "next>>" links should be used to view next/previous block.
The size of excerpt:
Maximum number of characters contained in excerpt.
Don't show similar webpages:
yes no
Don't show webpages with identical content in search results.
Word forms (English only):
yes no
If set to yes, search engine will recognize word forms. For example, if you search the word "move", search engine will also search the derivatives like "moves", "moved", "moving".
Categories:
The list of categories separated by linebreaks. Also, see Category meta-tag name setting. Using this settings allows to search webpages by category.
 
Category meta-tag name:
After selecting meta-tag name, you can add the code <meta name="meta_tag_name" content="category_name" /> in the head section of a webpage to put it into a particular category. Also, see Categories setting. Using this settings allows to search webpages by category.
Main content start marker:
By using start/end markers, you can exclude site navigation from index.

By using start/end markers, you can exclude site navigation from index.
 
Letters:
The list of symbols that can be a part of a word. You can use hyphen to mark ranges of symbols.
Letters (search):
The list of symbols that can be used to search by first letter of a title. You can use hyphen to mark ranges of symbols.
Character encoding:
Character encoding. Use this setting for languages other than English.
Stop words:
The words from this list will not be indexed by search engine.
No title text:
Text to be displayed if page has no title.
No matches text:
Text to be displayed if search words are not found on the page.
 
Host:
MySQL host (usually "localhost").
Username:
MySQL username.
Password:
MySQL password.
Database:
MySQL database name.
Tables prefix:
MySQL tables prefix.
 
Pages to index:
The number of pages to be indexed at a time.
Pages to re-index:
The number of already indexed pages to be updated at a time.
Webpage extensions:
This setting should be used to distinguish between webpages and other file types.
Sitemap extensions:
This setting should be used to distinguish between sitemaps and other file types.
Domains:
Domains that should be indexed.
Starting URLs:
URLs search engine should start indexing from.
Exclude folders:
Folders to be excluded (path part of the url without leading or trailing slash).
Exclude from query:
Ids to be excluded from query string (typically session ids).
