DHTML Menu Builder is an online tool for creating multi-level DHTML menus. If you don't have time to finish your menu, you can save your project in a cookie and return to it later.

Usage Guide

DHTML Menu Builder uses 4 types of elements:
  • Menu Item - basic menu item.
  • Active Menu Item - menu item with the mouse pointer over it.
  • Parent Menu Item - menu item that has submenu.
  • Expanded Parent Menu Item - parent menu item with its submenu visible.
User actions:
  • Auto-fill - use the properties of the basic menu item for other elements.
  • Create - create menu (the created menu will be opened in a popup window).
  • Save/Restore - save/restore current project to/from cookie (your current project will be saved/restored automatically when you leave/enter the page).
  • Template/Samples - load default projects.
Fields description:
  • Id prefix - unique prefix to be used for HTML tag ids and CSS classes.
  • URL prefix - something like "http://yourdomain.com/".
  • Menu structure - enter menu item names on the left and URLs on the right. Prefix names with one space for the first level of nesting, with two spaces for the second level of nesting, etc.
